The 37th Armor Regiment traces its roots to 1941 and carries a proud legacy of American tank warfare. Its predecessor, the 37th Tank Battalion, fought under Lieutenant Colonel Creighton Abrams with the 4th Armored Division during World War II. Its battalions later served during the Cold War, Desert Storm, and the Iraq War. The regiment’s green dragon insignia represents the tank’s deadly power, while its motto, “Courage Conquers,” honors the determination of generations of its soldiers.
